Privacy Policy
What data we collect
When you upload a file, we temporarily process the data on our servers to perform analysis. We also store your email address and daily usage count if you create an account via Supabase.
How your data is used
Your uploaded data is sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq, Cerebras) solely to generate your analysis. These providers process your data under their own privacy policies. Do not upload personally identifiable information, sensitive financial data, or confidential business data.
Data retention
Uploaded files and session data are automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours. Account data (email, usage counts) is stored in Supabase and retained until you delete your account.
Third-party services
We use: Google Gemini API (AI analysis), Groq API (AI analysis), Cerebras API (AI analysis), Supabase (authentication and usage tracking), Railway (backend hosting), Vercel (frontend hosting).
Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using Analyst.ai you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Analyst.ai is an AI-powered data analysis platform. Users upload data files and receive automated analysis, insights, and visualisations. The service is provided "as is" and is currently in beta.
3. Acceptable use
You may not upload data containing personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information, payment card data, or data subject to regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA, PCI-DSS). You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
4. Data ownership
You retain ownership of your data at all times. By uploading, you grant Analyst.ai a temporary licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your analysis. Data is automatically deleted after 24 hours.
5. No warranty
Analysis and insights are generated by AI and may contain errors. They are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional financial, legal, or business advice. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on the output.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Analyst.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
